The Best Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

I love these cookies, they aren't super sweet but they satisfy that craving.

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups oats
1 1/2 cups raisins

In a bowl combine the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder; set aside

in a mixing bowl combine the butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth

add the flour mixture

add the oats

then the raisins

drop the dough by a tablespoon full on a parchment line baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 11-13 minutes.

  2. My husband loves oatmeal raisin cookies. I don't like raisins so usually when I make them I split the batter. One half gets raisins and the other half gets chocolate chips. Do you think this recipe would be okay with chocolate chips?

  3. How do these bake up in EP? Since moving here, all my cookies turn out super flat and super crunchy. (Not terrible, but I like my cookies a little chewy and fluffy....)

    1. I haven't had an issue with these being flat...I guess I'm used to cooking in a climate like this being from Vegas.
