Garlic and Herb Shrimp Pasta

This is an outstanding recipe! Really easy and delicious.

1lb deveined and peeled shrimp
1/2 lb spaghetti
6-8 cloves of garlic; minced (I just used crushed garlic; about 2 1/2 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup butter
salt
pepper
crushed red pepper
italian seasoning

Boil pasta (save 1 cup of the water)

Melt the butter in a skillet

Add shrimp and garlic; cook until slightly pink

Once the pasta is cooked add it to the shrimp

Add salt, pepper, italian seasoning, crushed red pepper and olive oil. Add seasonings to your liking.

Mix together and cook until hot. If the pasta seems sticky add some of the water you held back from the pasta water

I served mine with the homemade cheddar bay bisquits. Enjoy!!

  1. Sounds delish! What do you do with the 1 cup water you saved back?

    1. I must have forgotten to add that part in it. Basically if the pasta seems sticky when you add it to the shrimp you can add some of that water. I edited the recipe and added that back in there. :)
