Sauteed Chicken

This recipe is incredibly easy and has a ton of flavor, it will definitely become a permanent fixture in our house.

2-3 chicken breasts (depending on how many people you are feeding)
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
kosher salt
pepper blend seasoning (or any pepper based seasoning)
1 cup chicken broth
fresh parsley; chopped

place the chicken between 2 pieces of plastic wrap and pound flat (it will cook more evenly). season with the pepper blend and kosher salt

heat a skillet on medium heat. melt the butter until it's foamy

add the olive oil and let the foam subside

place the chicken in the skillet cook for 5 minutes without touching

flip over and cook for an additional 5 minutes

heat the oven to 200 degrees and place the chicken in the oven to stay warm while you make the sauce

turn heat to high..add the chicken broth and scrape the pan. Let cooks for 5-10 minutes

drizzle chicken with sauce and garnish with fresh parsley
