Cinnamon Crumb Cake

I wanted to have a meal for breakfast that was easy and didn't take too much effort in the mornings. This recipe is perfect!

2 cups flour
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 cup (2 sticks) cold butter; cut into chunks
1 package white cake mix
1 egg
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract


combine the flour, sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon

add the chunks of butter

mix together with a pastry cutter or 2 knives

it should look like this, small crumbs

in a bowl mix together the cake mix, melted butter, sour cream and vanilla

grease and flour a 9x13 baking pan

spread the cake batter evenly in the pan

add the crumb topping and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean

 take out and let cool

serve and enjoy!!!
