This recipe is another popular side dish in my family. My husband hates green beans but loves them like this.

You will need:

1 container chicken broth
garlic (crushed or minced will work)
1 medium onion; chopped
1lb fresh green beans (ends snipped off)

in a large skillet melt 1 tablespoon of margarine

add the onions and cook until soft

add the garlic

add the green beans

add the chicken broth and cook on low-medium heat. let cook until all of the liquid is gone (takes approximately 1 hour)

Add salt and pepper to taste

Enjoy!!!
